K-9 Community Center Courses

The K-9 Community Center houses Academy Dog Training by Haywood. Since 1985, the mission of Academy Dog Training is to bring families closer through K9 obedience and owner education. The Academy offers basic through advanced obedience training tailored to each dog's specific need!

This 8-week course is built for owners to see their dogs in full glory. Here you will learn to unleash your dog while maintaining your obedience principles from your 101 and 201 courses. 

Ready....Set.....SNIFF!!! Our Nose Work Course is a way for you to finally give your dog an outlet for that beautiful nose! Starting with our beginner level, this course helps you to teach your dog how to identify different scents in a room, building, or outside! The greatest part is all levels are welcome, so you and your dog can jump right in and start learning! 

With over 160 vendors, the K-9 Community Center houses one of the most diverse retail selections in the area. Rooted in our training heritage, all of the products displayed are built to enhance the lives and minds of your dog. As an added perk, you might just get some free time to yourself!
